Habitat for Humanity Northwest New Jersey was proud to participate in the 2025 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project-Rural Rally. The weeklong event took place October 27 through October 31, 2025, in Wantage, NJ at a home owned and being renovated by Habitat for Humanity NWNJ. Each day was sponsored by a local business that sent employee work crews to the location. The groups worked side by side with our skilled Habitat volunteer workforce. This event was a kickoff celebration that began the renovation work needed to provide a local family with affordable housing. Public officials and dignitaries from Sussex County visited the site to experience what Habitat for Humanity NWNJ is accomplishing.
“Our affiliate was one of 17 out of 1500 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country and the only affiliate in New Jersey to have been chosen to participate in the Rural Rally” Kyle Stuber, Director of Development, Habitat for Humanity NWNJ also stated “It was exciting to represent New Jersey during the Rural Rally 2025. Following our merger last year with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity, this powerful initiative officially began new Habitat for Humanity construction in the area. Here’s to generational impact from Habitat for Humanity Northwest New Jersey.”
